Job Description
Expeditors exchanges over 35 million Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) messages each month with our customers, service providers and government agencies. EDI provides tremendous business value. Using webMethods and proprietary internal applications, the EDI Developer creates and maintains EDI based business translations that exchange electronic messages with internal and external systems. You will be part of a team that is responsible for analyzing, developing, testing, installing, and supporting this business critical information.

EXPERIENCE: 3 to 8 years
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with any industry standard Middleware tools and processes
- Experience with web-based, service-based, event-based, component-based architectures and development
- Efficient in writing reusable, testable code and ability to run test files and validate test results
- Experience on different file formats like Flat File, XML, etc.,
- Excellent analytical, logical reasoning and communication skills
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant work experience in IT
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with webMethods IS 8.2 and higher, Designer, MWS, Messaging (Broker, UM), and Adapters
- Preferred Experience: EDI knowledge (ANSI, EDIFACT, & RosettaNet standards)
- Experience with database and communication protocols
- Knowledge on Logistic or supply chain domain will be an added advantage
