Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for build and release activities of existing products and new products.
  • Support the on-time delivery of both internal, external deliverables.
  • Should quickly identify and eliminate manual, repetitive tasks through automation.
  • Maintain and enhance existing installers and design and implement new installers.
  • Engage with globally distributed multiple teams (Dev/QA/Documentation/customer support) and support their needs.
  • Participate in proof of concepts involving new technologies.

Mandatory Skill set:

  • Build and Release engineering experience.
  • Power shell and Shell scripting
  • Linux

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Hands on experience in build automation and scripting languages such as Power Shell script, Python, Shell scripting.
  • Strong knowledge in DevOps, Jenkins, Git, K8s, Packaging tools such as Install Shield, WiX installer etc.
  • Hands on experience in Linux and Windows.
  • Hands on experience in Sonar Qube is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills, strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Shows agility and flexibility in taking assignments.

Qualification:

  • 3 to 9 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, subject to the condition that aspirants have a strong fundamental in Software Engineering and have proven ability to comprehend and synthesize solutions using programing constructs/ techniques, as deem it appropriate for the situation.
