We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. You will play a key role in managing and optimizing the deployment of cloud-based web systems, including video streaming, real-time communication, and AI integrations. Your focus will be on maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure while supporting development teams in their efforts.
What You’ll Do
- Take an active part in all DevOps areas: Own Kela’s infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments, managing tools and services to ensure global up-time.
- Influence product architecture: Design and implement cutting-edge cloud tech, on-premise hardware solutions, and open-source tools to boost availability.
- Drive scalability: Plan the expansion of data capacity across distributed data centers and cloud regions.
- Own production excellence: Ensure smooth, high-standard execution and seamless integration between on-prem and cloud-native services.
- Automation Mindset: A drive to automate manual efforts using Python, Bash, or Go.
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps on high-scale distributed systems (Linux).
- Docker & Kubernetes: Mandatory hands-on experience with microservices.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and infrastructure as code practices.
- Strong background in multi-cloud plus on-premise infrastructure management.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex systems.
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) & Security-deep knowledge of build/release systems and DevSecOps (IAM, secret management, scanning).
- Experience in AI tools such as: Claude code, Cursor
