Job Description:
As a DevOps & SRE Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools necessary for the continuous delivery, deployment, and reliability of our software systems. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline processes, automate tasks, and ensure the scalability and availability of our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Implement and manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or Amazon ECS.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and cost.
- Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure system health and availability.
- Design and implement security best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in DevOps, SRE, or related role.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
