Compensation Range:

$156,200.00 - $260,300.00

The compensation range provided is in compliance with state specific laws.  Factors that may be used to determine your actual rate of pay include your specific skills, years of experience and other factors.

Essential Functions:
• Own, oversee, and execute the development, testing, deployment, and delivery of large-scale software applications. Manage engineering managers.
• Work with engineering managers to design high-volume, high availability microservices in AWS to meet the business requirements. Drive tribe-level development methodology.
• Partner with Product Management to set product and development strategy and vision with an eye towards balancing productivity and customer experience.
• Advocate for engineering-led initiatives that improve speed, quality, agility, and developer experience. Ensure quality of technical solutions provided by the team.
• Deliver robust and scalable solutions, incorporating in new technologies as appropriate.
• Coach managers in both their technical and professional development. Identify and coordinate tribe training needs.
• Recruit, retain and develop exceptional engineering talent.
• Cultivate a positive company culture that values cross team collaboration and trust.
• Continuously optimize team and development processes. Define tribe-level policies and procedures, as necessary.
• Own tribe-level budgets.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent self-study.
• 7 years in management role leading a team of software engineers.
• 10 years professional technical experience delivery software as part of a development team utilizing React, Node.JS or Java.
• Understanding and practical application of development methodologies, test automation, and continuous integration strategies.
• Experience in an agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a start-up environment.
• Experience mentoring and developing technical and functional skills of team members.
