Job Description
Job Purpose: As an IT Asset & Supplier Management Director, this job is to manage ITAM and Supplier operational activities for EMEA & APAC. We are seeking a forward-thinking ITAM & AI optimization specialist to drive the intelligent management of IT assets through automation and AI technologies. This role will be responsible for leveraging AI to enhance ITAM processes, deliver actionable insights, and ensure data-driven decision-making across the asset lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a blend of Senior ITAM practitioner and data-savvy innovator.
Additionally, the role is responsible for managing the governance framework for APAC and EMEA suppliers. This role ensures that supplier relationships are optimized for performance, risk is mitigated, contracts are adhered to, and business value is maximized. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in vendor management, contract governance, risk mitigation, and strategic supplier relationship management.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to, supporting the following activities:

• Asset Lifecycle Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and their configurations. Monitor asset performance and utilization, making recommendations for improvements.
• Compliance and Optimization: Ensure compliance with asset management policies and software licensing agreements and audit requirements. Optimize asset utilization and identify cost-saving opportunities. Lead the Software contract renewal process with business stakeholders for timely completion.
• AI Integration: Leverage AI technologies to enhance asset management processes, including predictive analytics for asset performance, automated compliance checks, and AI-driven optimization strategies
• Supplier Governance Framework Development: Implement and continuously improve the supplier governance framework, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance, performance, and alignment with business goals.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Serve as the executive point of contact for key strategic suppliers, drive strategic reviews, performance assessments, and executive-level relationship management.
• Supplier Performance & Risk Management: Monitor supplier performance metrics (KPIs/SLAs), ensure compliance with contractual obligations, and proactively manage supplier-related risks, including financial, operational, and regulatory.
• Contract Oversight: Oversee compliance with contract terms, track key milestones and renewal dates, and support contract negotiations and amendments as needed.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with legal, procurement, finance, IT, and operational teams to align IT Asset & Supplier strategies with business needs and regulatory requirements.
• Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular executive reports and dashboards on IT Asset & Supplier performance, risk exposure, and value delivery.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
• 10+ years of experience managing globally diverse teams for a Fortune 500 organization.
• Strong understanding of hardware, software and supplier management activities and experience interpreting contract terms and conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to use the ServiceNow platform.
• Proven supplier management skills, setting and measuring SLAs and KPIs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage AI for data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Proven experience in IT asset management, with a focus on AI integration and optimization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
