The Director - Systems Management (SG30) is responsible for leading endpoint management, digital experience, and endpoint security strategies while also overseeing quality engineering frameworks that ensure reliability, automation, and continuous improvement across systems. This role combines deep expertise in Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), Digital Employee Experience (DEX), endpoint security, and quality engineering with strong leadership to drive scalable, secure, and highly automated solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • 1. Unified Endpoint Management (UEM)
    • Lead strategy, design, and operations for UEM platforms (Intune, Workspace ONE, JAMF, MECM/SCCM/ConfigMgr)
    • Oversee provisioning, patching, configuration, and compliance for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and virtual endpoints
    • Champion modern management, zero-touch provisioning, and cloud-first strategies
  • 2. Digital Employee Experience (DEX) & End User Experience
    • Own DEX vision using platforms like Nexthink, ControlUp, SysTrack, etc.
    • Drive proactive experience management, performance optimization, and automated remediation
    • Build measurable KPIs for user experience and partner with support teams to elevate digital productivity
  • 3. Endpoint Security & Compliance
    • Govern endpoint security tools (Defender, CrowdStrike, Tanium, SentinelOne) and ensure strong baseline compliance
    • Collaborate closely with Cybersecurity for threat detection, vulnerability remediation, and incident readiness
    • Maintain hardened endpoint configurations and enforce policy consistency across device types
  • 4. Policy & Configuration Management
    • Define, maintain, and optimize MDM/MAM policies, compliance rules, GPO/Intune baselines, and security configurations
    • Build governance frameworks for endpoint access, encryption, application controls, and device lifecycle
  • 5. Quality Engineering & Test Automation
    • (Integrated with Systems Management Engineering)
    • Lead the Quality Engineering strategy across systems and backend services related to endpoint management, automation platforms, and user experience ecosystems
    • Bring strong hands-on expertise in test automation frameworks covering web, API, services-based architectures, and platform validation
    • Provide technical direction for automation architecture, tooling, and engineering best practices
    • Implement automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman/Newman, REST API automation libraries, etc.
    • Ensure comprehensive automation coverage for backend services, APIs, and systems that support endpoint and security workflows to reduce manual effort and strengthen release confidence
    • Drive codeless UI automation initiatives using platforms such as AccelQ or similar tools, expanding automation ownership across engineering teams
    • Partner with DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Systems Engineering teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast, reliable releases
    • Promote modern engineering practices, including:
      • Agile delivery
      • Shift-left testing
      • DevOps automation
      • Cloud-native architecture testing
      • Establish QE metrics, dashboards, and release readiness scorecards to continuously improve product quality and stability
  • 6. Strategy, Governance & Leadership
    • Define multi-year roadmaps and investment strategies for systems management, automation, DEX, and endpoint security
    • Lead cross-functional initiatives, vendor assessments, and platform modernization programs
    • Drive engineering excellence through automation, observability, and process simplification
    • Mentor global engineering teams and build capabilities across UEM, QE, DEX, and endpoint security streams
  • 7. Operational Excellence
    • Ensure high reliability and performance of endpoint management and automation ecosystems.
    • Build automation-first operations to minimize manual toil and operational risks
    • Oversee root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and service optimization initiatives
    • Manage budget, capacity, and lifecycle planning for all endpoint and QE-related technologies
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in Systems Management, UEM, DEX, Endpoint Security, or Quality Engineering
  • Experience with tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman, and codeless automation tools like AccelQ
  • Experience leading global teams and driving enterprise-scale transformation
  • Deep hands-on knowledge of UEM platforms and modern endpoint management
  • Solid understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, and cloud-native architectures
  • Proven solid background in automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing.
  • Proven expertise in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, REST/Graph API, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Microsoft 365/Intune, Azure, VMware, JAMF, ITIL
  • Experience with AI-driven DEX and automation platforms
  • Proven background in Zero Trust endpoint architecture and cloud-native engineering
