About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Developer in Test (DIT) to join our Quality Engineering team. This role combines software development and quality assurance, focusing on building robust test automation frameworks, improving testing processes, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
The ideal candidate is passionate about coding, automation, quality engineering, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and test suites.
- Build automated tests for web applications, APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Develop reusable testing tools, utilities, and frameworks to improve test efficiency.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable quality metrics and reports.
- Ensure test coverage across critical business workflows and system components.
- Advocate for quality engineering best practices across development teams.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to overall software quality improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, automation, or software development.

- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of test automation tools such as:

- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated build pipelines.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
- Familiarity with database testing using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Understanding of security and accessibility testing practices.
- Experience working with distributed systems and microservices architectures.
