Primary Function
The Division Manager is responsible for partnering with the Joint Venture President in managing and directing Joint Venture mortgage, Production, as well as planning and organizing strategic initiatives. The Division Manager provides sales development and leadership/ management of Joint Venture Presidents as aligned with corporate targets. Directly responsible for overseeing production goals based on recruiting activities, success rate strategies, and margin management, while developing Joint Venture Presidents and their respective Joint Ventures.

Principal Duties
- Identifies opportunities for growth in both existing Joint Ventures and new partnerships.
- Develops and leads the implementation of overall strategy to increase JV success rates and funded volume.
- Collaborates with Sr. Division Manager & Channel Leader to evaluate Joint Venture performance.
- Provides strategic direction, business plans, and oversight to ensure each Joint Venture is maximizing profitable production while maintaining efficient and accurate operations.
- Supports and assists Joint Venture presidents with recruiting efforts, staffing models, board meeting preparation, building a sales centric culture, and a focus on both the employee and customer experience.
- Responsible for communication and implementation of company policies and procedures.
- Oversees management of P&L for assigned Joint Ventures.
- Promotes, supports, and enhances the Newrez ventures brand.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Leadership experience working with management level employees in multiple markets required.
- 7+ years in mortgage (production).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proficiency in budgets, P&L, and other financial reports.
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
- Knowledge of mortgage industry, regulatory environment, and financial markets.
- Strong managerial, organizational, and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrated leadership, enthusiasm, and ability to recruit and motivate others.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and build strong working relationships with multiple departments.
- Ability to successfully recruit, mentor, and lead Joint Venture presidents.
