Job Description

Are you passionate about creating engaging, high-performing e-mail campaigns that nurture audiences and drive measurable outcomes? And are you a HubSpot expert with a knack for executing and optimising campaigns that deliver, then this role could be the perfect opportunity for you. Join our newly established Marketing Delivery Centre based in Chennai, India. You’ll report to the Head of Marketing Delivery Centre (MDC) and be part of the Brand, Marketing and External relations team.

Your new role 

As our new E-mail marketing and automation specialist you will be our go-to expert for e-mail Marketing and Marketing Automation in HubSpot. You’ll be responsible for the setup, sending and analysing of all Ramboll marketing e-mail and newsletters as well as marketing automation to nurture our audience across all lifecycle stages.

You’ll be part of a team of specialists across the marketing function and will work closely with our global Operations Lead, HubSpot Data Specialist and a Marcoms specialist as well as support the marketing team both in Ramboll Headquarters and local teams around the world in order to deliver effective e-mails, newsletters and nurture flows.

Your key responsibilities will be: 

  • Plan, build, test, and send marketing e-mails and newsletters using HubSpot. 
  • Develop and optimize workflows to nurture leads, re-engage clients and contacts.
  • Provide technical expertise that improves our deliverability rate.
  • Manage audience segmentation and build actionable lists ensuring personalized and behaviour-driven communication.
  • Work closely with content, design and marketing colleagues globally to align e-mail initiatives with campaign and business objectives.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance to measure KPIs (such as delivery rates, open rates, conversion rates), and provide actionable insights and recommendations that continuously drive improvement.
  • Ensure all e-mail campaigns adhere to best practices for deliverability and comply with relevant regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.).

Qualifications

Your starting point for constant growth

You’re well versed in e-mail marketing and marketing automation and you have extensive experience in HubSpot. You bring technical expertise, analytical skills, and a collaborative spirit. For this role, we believe a good starting point is:

  • 2-4+ years of experience working with e-mail marketing and automation in HubSpot – preferably from a B2B environment.
  • Technical knowledge of how e-mail service providers work.
  • Proficiency in analysing data and leveraging HubSpot’s reporting tools as well as other data organisation tools.
  • HubSpot certifications, especially the e-mail marketing certification, are a strong advantage.
  • If you’ve worked with HubSpot landing pages, lead capture forms and understand basic lead scoring mechanisms that is a significant plus.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for minor content adjustments and page optimization is not a requirement but certainly an advantage
  • Good English language proficiency.
