EBS/APEX RESOURCE

As an EBS/APEX Resource, you will be at the forefront of our web application development efforts. Your expertise in Oracle APEX, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and backend programming will be instrumental in creating responsive, enterprise-grade applications. This role involves managing the entire application lifecycle, from design to deployment, and ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems. Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern web applications using Oracle APEX, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, procedures, and triggers to manage local databases efficiently.
• Install, configure, and maintain ORDS, web servers, and database instances on-premises, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to connect APEX applications with ERP systems and third-party platforms, enabling seamless data exchange.
• Implement robust security measures, including role-based authorization and data compliance policies, to protect sensitive information.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, conduct SQL tuning, and monitor application health to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in APEX and web development technologies, incorporating best practices into our applications.
• Document and maintain clear, concise, and up-to-date technical documentation, ensuring knowledge transfer and easy maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• 3+ to 8+ years of experience in IT/database roles, with a strong focus on Oracle APEX development, is essential.
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills, demonstrated through the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
• Proficiency in modern web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS, to create responsive and interactive user interfaces.
• Experience with ORDS configuration and Oracle Database administration, ensuring efficient and secure database management.
• Strong analytical skills, including data modeling and logical problem-solving abilities, to design efficient and scalable applications.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear documentation of work.
• A proactive and innovative mindset, always seeking opportunities to improve and modernize our web applications.
