About you
We are looking for an EDI Developer with strong Python and SQL expertise, along with deep experience in 834/X12 transactions. The ideal candidate will support and optimize the existing workflow, contribute to the migration away from Orderful, and provide long-term continuity.
Schedule: 9 AM – 7 PM (Mountain Time), required overlap.
You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
- Desirable Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data management and integration processes.
- Solid proficiency in Python programming, with knowledge of JSON data formats.
- Strong experience with 834/X12 writing and practical knowledge of EDI standards.
- Experience with CSV/Flat file writing.
- Familiarity with SFTP processes for secure data transfer.
- Integration proficiency – ability to troubleshoot and optimize end-to-end workflows.
- Technical writing skills and high attention to detail for documentation and process clarity.
- SQL experience, with BigQuery highly preferred.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Advanced English proficiency is required, since you will be working directly with US-based clients.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
- EDI & Data Transformation – Assist in removing Orderful from existing processes, transforming data from JSON to X12 in BigQuery, and improving overall efficiency.
- Process Optimization – Review SQL scripts and documentation in BigQuery to ensure best practices for file generation.
