Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Engineer II to lead and enhance our cloud-first infrastructure, with advanced expertise in AWS and Azure administration, Windows Server engineering, and identity management. This role involves designing scalable solutions, mentoring junior engineers, and driving automation initiatives.Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and optimize AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Route53, Azure VMs, and networking.
- Lead administration and engineering of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Monitor system performance and availability using tools such as Amazon CloudWatch and Dynatrace.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using tools such as PowerShell and Terraform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, ensuring SLA compliance and root cause analysis.
- Support application deployment and integration across infrastructure platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement secure, scalable, and resilient solutions.
- Manage identity and access using Okta, Azure AD, and SSO integrations.
- Document infrastructure designs, procedures, and provide training to team members.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure strategy.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration, cloud engineering, or infrastructure operations.
- Advanced hands-on experience with AWS (required) and Azure (preferred) services.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration and automation scripting.
- Experience with identity platforms such as Okta and Azure AD.
- Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools like CloudWatch and Dynatrace.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, HTTP/S, SMTP, LDAP).
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
- Okta Certified Professional or equivalent.
