Roles & Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to Perform Manual Testing & Scripting the test cases into Automation in the areas of Verification and Validation.
- Ownership of all assigned tasks
- Write test cases & scenarios based on the features to test
- Ability to detect the defects & identify the steps to reproduce them
- Find & File defects in defect tracking tool
- Timely and accurate reporting of project status as required by Project team
- Escalate all issues in a timely fashion
- Perform manual testing & script automation steps on the test cases written
- Collaborate with people across roles to understand the domain and work towards building the right solution
- Adopt an open mindset for learning new things and working in new roles
- Continuously improve by working on and providing feedback
Requirements
- Knowledge of Software Development & Testing Life Cycles
- Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle.
- Experience in Manual and Automation testing
- Hands on experience working with Selenium
- Working experience of Playwright Framework using Javascript
- Experience of API automation using Postman and Javascript scripting
- Knowledge of and/or willingness to work within Scrum Methodology
- An individual who thrives in a demanding environment that imposes new challenges frequently.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly and apply them to solving tough problems.
