What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health
Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, Computer Science, MIS, Business, related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years in SAP and experience with functional processes would be recommended.
  • Expert level SAP knowledge in SD Pricing is mandatory.
  • Prior Experience to Vistex will be an added advantage and preferable(optional).
  • Hands-on SAP ERP (ECC) skills, with demonstrated experience in Sales and Distribution preferred
    • SAP SD Configuration – Sales Document types, Item Categories, Output determination, Copy Control, Schedule line categories, Available to Promise, IDOCS.
    • Special Business Processes – Consignment, Third Party, Intercompany Billing, STO.
    • Special Concept Such Free Goods, Bill of Materials, Material Determination.
    • Master Data (CMIR/Customer Master/Material master/Pricing master).
    • Sound knowledge in SAP Pricing Concepts and Configurations
      • Condition Technique Mechanism
      • Calculation Routines & Formulas
      • Rounding Calculations
      • Contracts & Agreements
      • Billing & Rebates
      • Retro Billing.
      • Debits, Credits Pricing
      • Credit Management
      • Taxes, Freight, Surcharges & Discounts
    • ABAP - Reading and de-bugging ABAP code.
    • Ability to design and build reports and/or queries for end users.
    • Experience in SPRO, ALE/IDOC, EDI, BADI, USER-EXIT and LSMW
    • Experience in integration between Modules SD-FI, SD-MM etc.
    • Experience in integration between SAP systems and SAP to non-SAP systems (EDI, middleware, CRM, Portals etc.)
  • Knowledge in business processes involving Vistex Billbacks, Chargebacks, Claim processing, Pricing agreements and Memberships will be added advantage.
  • Prior experience in Data Objects would be beneficial.
  • Experience in working with AGILE processes.
  • Experience in requirement gathering, gap & impact analysis along with experience developing an implementation strategy for process improvements.
  • Experience with IDoc mapping, IDoc enhancements and designing new interface feeds is a plus
  • Experience with a full life cycle implementation; understanding of industry best practices preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills must convey thoughts and ideas simply and concisely.
