Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team in Chennai, India. As an Engineering Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of talented software engineers, driving innovation and delivering high-quality products that meet our business objectives.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of software engineers
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with company goals
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and technical specifications
  • Implement and maintain Agile methodologies to optimize team performance
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and support the professional development of team members
  • Participate in architectural decisions and ensure best practices in software development
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of new engineering talent
  • Manage resource allocation and budgeting for engineering projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of building and mentoring high-performing engineering teams
  • Experience in making critical decisions in fast-paced environments
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in software engineering
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
