The Position

 Enterprise Master Data Management  (EMDM) is a Roche cross-functional and cross-divisional network of master data specialists and subject-matter experts developing governance frameworks and maintenance processes to ensure high-quality and trusted master data as the backbone for seamless business operations, data analytics and digitalization.

Please note that the opportunity is open on a fixed-term basis until the 31st of December, 2027.

The Opportunity

In the Enterprise Master Data Management Operations Business Analyst role, you are responsible for the dedication towards undisturbed business activities by committing to Service Level Agreement. In this role, you will ensure that technological architecture meets user requirements, and will support the whole data maintenance related queries - including data quality, lifecycle management and monitoring. Execute the day-to-day activities according to the agreed service level and in compliance with the SOPs of the respective business sub-process. Follow the instructions of the Cluster Lead - Enterprise Master Data Management Operations Business Partner domain regarding the daily work coordination, and propose process and system improvements across multiple divisions. Contribute continuously to the improvement of the performance of the Finance, Procurement, Sales and Supply Chain organizations. 

  • Incident and Request Management: Handles incoming incidents, supports Roche Affiliates and IT departments, and performs 2nd level evaluation and prioritization of user requests using ITIL methodology.

  • Process Improvement and Implementation: Analyzes, redesigns, and implements business and systems processes, and identifies opportunities for automation and optimization.

  • Collaboration and Solution Development: Collaborates with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and develops business cases and proposals for improvements.

  • Data Management: Manages continuous data cleansing and data lifecycle.

  • Documentation and Training: Maintains SOPs, Knowledge Base, and User Guidance, and prepares and delivers training material.

  • Project Management: Leads, coordinates, facilitates, and participates in local and global IT projects.

  • Audit and Compliance: Manages audit controls, including ICFR.

  • Strategic Planning: Contributes to long-term planning through process analysis and proposals for system upgrades.

    • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) are

    • essential.

    • Strong customer centricity and stakeholder management skill

    • Experienced in SAP (FI, MM, CO, SD)

    • Ability to work independently and in team as well

    • Focus on details and innovation

    • Skilled in multitasking and prioritization

    • Has analytical thinking

    • 3-5 years Master Data management experience is desirable

    • Project experience (desirable)

    Salary starts from 2300 EUR gross/monthly. Final salary depends on the successful candidate's level of experience, skills and qualifications.
