Job Summary
The Entertainment and Enrichment Specialist is a corporate-based role supporting shipboard operations across The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection fleet. In this role, you will assist in planning and delivering Entertainment, Enrichment, Ritz Kids, Aquatics programming, and onboard events. The role supports daily programming, hired talent, themed events, and special projects while assisting with recruitment, event planning, shipboard procedures, event orders, and vendor coordination. Working closely with shipboard and shoreside teams, the Specialist helps ensure a seamless, luxury guest experience at sea.
- Maintains project plans and tracks departmental progress against established timelines and deliverables.
- Maintains the shipboard programming calendar to ensure accuracy and alignment with operational needs.
- Reviews guest satisfaction scores, identifies trends, and supports data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Supports the review and ongoing refinement of standard operating procedures for Entertainment, Enrichment, and Ritz Kids programming.
- Assists with vendor contracts, invoicing, and documentation to support operational requirements.
- Collaborates with cross-functional departments to create and coordinate event orders for holidays and special events.
- Supports operational planning and execution for themed voyages and charter programs.
- Assists with the creation of purchase orders and tracks the delivery of shipboard supplies and materials.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Entertainment, Events management, Event Production, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organization & multi-tasking
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills; fluent English
- Ability to solve problematic situations in a quick, efficient manner
- Experience with project management tools (smartsheet, Trello, Asana)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), OSX (Keynote, Pages)
- Ability to travel
- Previous Luxury and/or Cruise experience is considered an asset
