The Senior Project Manager oversees complex technology transformation programs, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, stakeholder satisfaction, and effective risk management across teams.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of complex, cross‑functional technology and business transformation programs. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and with high stakeholder satisfaction. The Senior PM leads planning, execution, governance, vendor management, risk mitigation, and cross‑team coordination across business, IT, and partner ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Delivery & Execution
Qualifications- Lead the full project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, sprint plans, RAID logs, and governance dashboards.
- Manage scope, timeline, budget, and resources, ensuring adherence to PMO standards.
- Drive daily/weekly stand‑ups, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and executive reviews.
- Ensure high‑quality deliverables with strong alignment to acceptance criteria.
- Act as the primary point of contact with business owners, product owners, technical leads, and executives.
- Facilitate governance forums, design boards, change control meetings, and milestone reviews.
- Communicate status, risks, dependencies, and decisions in a clear and structured manner.
- Manage expectations and ensure alignment across business and technology teams.
- Maintain and proactively manage RAID registers.
- Identify critical‑path risks and implement mitigation strategies early.
- Escalate blockers timely and drive resolution across cross‑functional teams.
- Manage dependencies across internal teams, external vendors, and other initiatives.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, burn‑rate tracking, and cost optimization.
- Work closely with procurement, finance, and vendor partners.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and SOW deliverables.
- Lead cross-functional delivery teams including developers, architects, analysts, QA, operations, and external partners.
- Foster a high‑performance culture with accountability and collaboration.
- Mentor junior PMs, Scrum Masters, and analysts as needed.
- Enforce PMO methodologies, delivery frameworks, agile best practices, and documentation standards.
- Ensure all deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria and regulatory/compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in project or program management.
- Proven track record managing large, complex, multi‑phase technology transformation projects.
- Strong competency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Expertise in project planning tools (Jira, MS Project, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong financial acumen and vendor management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage senior-level stakeholders.
