The ETL Test Analyst will create test case documents for data pipelines, verify business requirements, stored procedures, and data transformations. Responsibilities include ensuring successful execution of data loading workflows and writing ETL scripts. The role demands strong knowledge in ETL/DWH testing and requires experience in handling ETL tools and test management tools.
- Create test case documents/plan for testing the Data pipelines.
- Check the mapping for the fields that support data staging and in data marts & data type constraints of the fields present in snowflake Verify non-null fields are populated.
- Verify Business requirements and confirm if the correct logic Is implemented in the transformation layer of ETL process.
- Verify stored procedure calculations and data mappings.
- Verify data transformations are correct based on the business rules.
- Verify successful execution of data loading workflows
- Should have hands on experience in ETL/DWH Testing.
- Strong in ETL, Dababase/DWH Testing.
- Experience in writing ETL scripts and execution
- Experience in any of the test management tool (JIRA etc)
1. Strong working knowledge on Informatica, Datastage, PySpark, Spark, Hadoop, SQL
2. Extensive exposure to Back-end/ETL Testing with high-level of SQL skills
3. Exp in delivering ETL solutions by liaising with business users, architects and understanding the business requirements
4. Should have prior experience working informatica / other ETL tools
5. Should be able to take source to target DDR and be able to write Test Cases independently
Good-to-Have
1. Recent experience with Finance/Banking domain
2. Excellent communication skills
