2 to 4 years of working experience in the chemical / Pharmaceutical / Petrochemical industry

Job Description and KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop & monitor a comprehensive industrial hygiene program as per company standards & guidelines
- To undertake sampling and measurement of potential occupational hazards
- Prepare written technical reports with recommendations for corrective actions to control hazards
- Identified and evaluated exposure to a variety of chemical, physical and biological hazards
- Conduct health program to recognize, eliminate and control occupational health hazards and diseases
- Conduct survey & evaluation of exposure to noise / Noise mapping
- Gather and interpret data from sampling chemical, physical and biological stresses
- Perform surveys involving ventilation.
- Coordinating medical surveillance programs requires monitoring the health status of employees
- Conducted briefings on a variety of industrial hygiene and environmental health programs
- Assist other departments in preparation of HSE related procedures, SOPs, forms etc.
- Handle all industrial hygiene program areas
- Resolved issues that impact on the health and well-being of the workforce
- To ensure interpretation of new and revised occupational health & hygiene legislation
- To write and update HSE procedures and reports
- To work with the company medical adviser, management, safety professionals & workforce to achieve occupational health & hygiene targets
- Assist HOD in reporting of data on HSE as per site, group and statutory requirements.
- Organizing and conducting HSE related meetings, training / awareness programs including execution of mock drill & fire drills
- Assisting HODs & site management for HSE related accident / incident prevention, investigation, audits, surveys updating data and statistics
- Assisting HOD for vendor selection / development for HSE related matters.
Technical Skills & Competencies / Language
- Statutory HSE requirements, legislations & its compliance
- Known to Qualitative & Quantitative Industrial Hygiene Risk Assessment
- Good training skills
- Communication & Presentation skill
- Preferred languages : English, Hindi & Gujarati
