The Executive Producer manages the entire creative and production process for MicroDrama content, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
We are building a high-velocity MicroDrama content engine where stories move from concept to screen in rapid cycles. The Executive Producer will oversee the end-to-end creative and production pipeline — from evaluating scripts to managing external production partners — ensuring every show is delivered on time, within budget, and stays true to the creative vision.
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate concepts, scripts, and story pitches; work closely with internal and external writers to refine narrative, structure, and character arcs
- Collaborate with production houses, creative teams, and directors to bring stories to life with speed and quality
- Drive the pre-production, shoot, and post-production workflow to ensure smooth execution
- Share creative feedback on episodes, edits, performances, pacing, and storytelling
- Track spends to ensure efficient execution without compromising output quality
- Maintain a strong handle on timelines, approvals, deliverables, and stakeholder communication
- Monitor platform/audience insights and iterate content direction based on performance
- Create and maintain documentation: production schedules, approvals, status trackers, etc.
- Ensure consistency of tone, storytelling style, and brand guidelines across all shows
Skills & Attributes For Success:
- 6–10 years of experience in content production, creative development, or showrunning, preferably with OTT/digital platforms, production houses, or creator-led formats
- Must be able to work with stakeholders across levels and ensure adherence to agreed-upon quality of writing and production
- Ability to evaluate scripts, fix narrative gaps, and guide writers/directors
- Understanding of end-to-end production processes — from scripting to final delivery
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate in fast turnaround cycles
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills
- Solution-oriented mindset — calm under pressure, flexible to change, and proactive in problem-solving
Nice to Have:
- Experience in short-form content (Reels/Shorts), limited series, or episodic digital storytelling.
- Existing network of writers, creators, directors, and production houses
