Experienced/ Lead - QA Engineer

In this role, you will champion the 'Shift Left' philosophy, implementing practices and strategies that enhance quality and efficiency from the early stages of the software development lifecycle.

As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for driving best practices in quality assurance, continuous integration, and deployment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, guiding the team in adopting testing strategies that identify and resolve issues early. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence while mentoring other engineers to elevate their skills.

• Proven experience in a senior QA Engineer role in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Strong knowledge of test automation and test management tools like Jenkins, X-Ray/Zephyr, Github actions, Azure Devops...)
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or .NET, C#, using Playwright, Selenium or Webdriver IO for E2E testing.
• Comfortable using Postman, working with REST APIs, and debugging backend issues using Flurl, RestSharp, Refit, or ASP.NET Core integration-test libraries SQLt.
• Solid understanding of Bash scripting, and working in CLI-based environments using Terminal.
• Solid Experience using Terraform for IAC with BICEP.
• Solid Experience with Docker is plus!
• Experience using Linux and Windows OS environments is plus!
• Highly proactive and capable of taking ownership with minimal oversight.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.

For one of the Projects we have, you must have:

• Ability and flexibility to work on-site in Porto regularly.
• Willingness and eligibility to travel to California for 1 week every 3/4 months
