Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and design of enterprise-grade cloud solutions on platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and execute cloud strategies, including cloud adoption frameworks, migration plans, and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, governance, security policies, and best practices across the organization.
- Architect and oversee complex cloud infrastructure deployments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders, IT teams, and stakeholders to align cloud solutions with organizational objectives.
- Mentor and guide technical teams in cloud adoption, architecture principles, and implementation best practices.
- Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.
- Monitor cloud environments for cost optimization, performance tuning, and security compliance.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and provide strategic recommendations to enhance business capabilities.
- Lead risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare and present architecture documentation, technical roadmaps, and executive reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 10 years focused on cloud architecture and engineering.
- Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions in Azure.
- Strong expertise in cloud networking, security, identity management, storage, compute, and monitoring.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale cloud migration and transformation projects.
- Expert knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation scripting.
- Deep understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices including CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS.
- Ability to influence organizational cloud strategy and drive innovation.
- Strong mentoring and team leadership abilities.
- Background in enterprise-scale environments within sectors such as finance, healthcare, or government.
