Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute External Communications Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive external communications strategy that promotes and protects the company's identity and reputation, aligning with KHC's Global Comms strategy as well as Indonesia business strategy.
- Build and Maintain Media Relationships: Foster impactful engagement with key targeted media outlets and other relevant external stakeholders to establish long-term relationships and trust
- Risk Management and Crisis Communications: Develop and implement a risk management strategy to mitigate potential reputational risks and crises that could threaten the company's and brand's reputation.
- Event Management: Organize and execute external communication/PR events in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external agencies (PR agency, Event Organizer) to promote the company's reputation, brand and values.
- Communication Kits & Guides: Assist and prepare comprehensive communication kits for external speaking engagements and media interactions to ensure consistent and positive media coverage. (briefing documents, press release, presentations, speeches, and other external communication materials)
- Company Spokesperson: Serve as the company spokesperson, responding to media inquiries and representing the company in a professional and timely manner.
- Media Monitoring and Analysis: Manage and analyze media coverage across various channels, including conventional media, social media, and external publications, to track brand reputation and identify areas for risks and improvement.
- Budget Management: Oversee the external communications budget, ensuring alignment with the company's direction and business focuses.
Position Requirement
Education Background:
Public Relations / Communications, Marketing Communication, Media / Journalism
Working Experience:
- 8+ years working experience in the communications field.
- Extensive experience in leading the development, management and delivery of Corporate Communication strategies and plans.
- Experience in media management, including sound understanding of social and digital media communications & crisis communications.
- Ability to conceptualize, analyze and evaluate information to develop practical solutions and make informed decisions.
Technical Skills:
- Corporate writing skills
- Public speaking and presentation
- Media relations & media events
Other Specific Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English, and local language will be a must.
