Job Description
Position summary
The Fishing and Drilling Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the efficient and safe execution of fishing and drilling operations, ensuring seamless logistics, inventory management, and compliance with industry standards. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, third-party vendors, and clients to ensure the smooth flow of materials, equipment, and services while maintaining accurate records and reports.
Essential functions
Roles & Responsibilities
Coordination & Communication:
•Attend daily morning meetings with internal teams and clients to discuss updates, requirements, and any concerns regarding ongoing operations.
•Coordinate with project coordinators to ensure tools and equipment are sent to rigs in certified baskets, with all slings and shackles properly certified for safety.
Inspection & Documentation:
•Assign work orders (WO) to third-party inspection teams, coordinate the completion of inspections, and ensure that inspection reports are distributed across all locations and updated in TRACS.
•Prepare and manage all necessary documentation, including Material Receiving Notes, Delivery Notes, and Summaries related to equipment and material receipt and update in TRACS.
•Ensure that all tools are properly stored, maintained, serviced, and replaced as necessary, and document their condition and movement in TRACS.
Inventory & Asset Management:
•Maintain accurate records of tools, spares, and consumables supplied to clients, monitor the movement of these items between rigs and supply bases, and update in TRACS.
•Maintain an adequate inventory level of all tools, spares, and consumables, and reconcile calculated inventories with physical counts and with TRACS.
•Prepare monthly inventory and rental reports for client approval, along with consumption lists for consumable items.
Logistics & Supply Chain Management:
•Ensure uninterrupted supply and logistic support for materials, equipment, and services required for drilling operations, coordinating loading and unloading activities and updating the movement in TRACS.
•Organize and manage equipment through Preventive Maintenance, Inspection, Testing, and Calibration, ensuring that these activities are conducted without disrupting operations.
Procurement & Invoicing Support:
•Raise Purchase Requests (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) in a manual environment as required and also in TRACS ensuring proper updates to the PR sheet.
•Coordinate with the team to collect monthly reports for the submission of invoices to clients.
Compliance & HSE Standards:
•Adhere to the prevailing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, ensuring all operations meet safety and regulatory requirements.
All roles are constantly evolving, and it is essential for the incumbent to assist the Supervisor/Lead/HOD in achieving departmental/organizational objectives and to take on additional tasks as needed.
