The Role:

As our Field Project Manager, you are presented with a unique and exhilarating challenge: to seamlessly bridge the gap between customer requirements and our cutting-edge robotic solution. In this role, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of robotic cell deployments, including overseeing the delivery process to customer sites. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction, including the efficient completion of factory and site acceptance tests. You will act as the crucial link between our customers and R&D team, translating complex technical requirements into actionable plans while fostering strong, lasting relationships. Additionally, you will be instrumental in driving new business opportunities within our existing customer base, contributing to our mission of revolutionising manufacturing automation.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of robotic cell deployments, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects.

  • Frequently travel to customer sites (Europe)

  • Collaborate directly with customers to gather and document requirements, conducting on-site evaluations to tailor our solutions to their specific needs.

  • Act as the communication bridge between customers and our R&D team, translating technical requirements into actionable plans.

  • Manage the delivery process to customer sites, ensuring logistics, and site readiness for efficient installation.

  • Oversee the completion of factory and site acceptance tests (FAT/SAT) to ensure the robotic cell meets all operational requirements.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to drive new business within existing accounts.

  • Continuously improve deployment processes by gathering feedback and refining best practices to enhance project outcomes.

  • Capacity to work with multidisciplinary teams including AI, mechanical, electrical and other engineers to develop complex robotic systems

  • Adaptable and resilient, thriving in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving startup environment.

  • Insatiably curious and open minded.

Good to Have:

  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, with the ability to swiftly assess the suitability of workstations for automation integration.

  • Experience with deploying Robotic solutions.

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly within the manufacturing or automation industries.

  • Familiarity with automation technologies and a strong aptitude for quickly gathering and interpreting technical requirements.

  • Proficiency in reading and understanding CAD drawings, with an emphasis on identifying integration opportunities for robotic systems.

  • Strong ability to build and maintain customer rapport, ensuring effective communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
