As a Financial Analyst on Turing’s FP&A team, you will play an important role in Turing’s financial planning processes and work closely with leaders across the entire organization. You will develop, maintain, and improve financial models to support forecasting and operational processes for the business. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, roll up your sleeves finance professional that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
As a Financial Analyst in FP&A you’ll get to:
- Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and the rest of senior leadership to help us achieve our financial goals
- Own a bottom-up corporate financial model with functional inputs for both Revenue and OpEx
- Perform variance analysis to identify deviations from planned financial outcomes and provide insights to mitigate risks
- Support company planning activities, including quarterly short and long-term forecasts and the annual operating plan
- Prepare executive management presentations, including monthly reporting packages, BoD content, and QBRs
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent
- 4+ years of FP&A and financial reporting experience, ideally in a high growth start-up
- Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
- Superior G-Suite experience (Google Spreadsheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides)
- Experience in financial systems such as Netsuite and Salesforce
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
- Ability to effectively work cross-functionally with departments throughout the organization
- Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail
- A demonstrated ability to multi-task and shift priorities quickly under pressure and tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience presenting analyses to management
- Investment banking or Big 4 accounting experience is a plus
