Founding GTM Lead, North AmericaWhy this role exists

Tetriz is an AI Engineering Intelligence platform that helps engineering organizations become AI-native, faster. We measure how AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot are actually used, improve engineer effectiveness through prompt and workflow coaching, and help engineering leaders demonstrate AI ROI with board-ready, defensible insights.
We've begun building our presence in the US market and are looking for someone to lead and accelerate that journey. Backed by a proven product, an experienced founding team with a track record of building and scaling successful companies, and strong commercial momentum in India, you'll play a pivotal role in establishing and expanding our US business.

Working closely with the founders, you'll drive customer acquisition, shape our GTM motion for the US, and build lasting relationships with enterprise customers. This is a rare opportunity to define a high-impact function, influence strategy, and play a foundational role in our international growth.

What you will do
  • Own every commercial outcome in North America end-to-end — pipeline generation, discovery, demos, pilots, negotiation, close. No SDR hand-offs, no warm inbound. You build the motion and you run it.

  • Build and activate a genuine network of engineering leaders across the Bay Area and beyond — VP Engineering, CTO, CPTO at growth-stage and scale-up companies. Real relationships, not LinkedIn connections — show up where engineering leaders actually are: communities, events, the developer-tooling conversation.

  • Set strategy directly with the co-founders — pricing, ICP, positioning, how we win a category that doesn't have a name yet.

  • Use AI as leverage, not garnish — LLMs and Clay-style workflows to research, prospect, and personalize at a scale a small team couldn't touch manually. This is how the whole team works.

  • Feed market intelligence back into the product — what buyers care about, what objections come up, what we should build next. Turn early customers into advocates.

  • The first ten logos matter more than the next hundred.

  • Build the foundation — process, positioning, early hires — that the North America motion scales on as it grows.

What we are looking for
  • 5–10 years in B2B SaaS, with a track record of owning revenue outcomes at the Head/VP level — not just carrying a number, but having built or run the motion that produced it.

  • Direct experience selling to, or building pipeline from, engineering leadership — VP Eng, CTO, CPTO. Not IT. Not procurement.

  • A proven track record building pipeline and closing revenue from zero — no inherited book, no inbound engine to lean on. Quota attainment, logos closed, pipeline built from scratch — the numbers matter.

  • Fluency in how engineering teams work — you can hold a real conversation about developer productivity, delivery metrics, and platform engineering without performing it. Experience in developer tooling, DevOps, infra SaaS, or engineering productivity is a strong plus.

  • You have operated in environments under 100 people, ideally as employee-one-in-market or close to it. You know what zero-to-one feels like and you move faster because of it, not despite it.

  • AI-native in how you work — you use AI tools to research, personalize, prospect, and operate at a pace that compounds over time.

  • Based in, or able to operate from, the Bay Area — enough in-market presence to build real relationships with founders and engineering leaders in person.

  • Comfortable working closely with founders on strategy, not just execution — this role shapes the playbook, it doesn't wait for one.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
