Who we are

We're Redis. We built the product that runs the fast apps our world runs on. (If you checked the weather, used your credit card, or looked at your flight status online today, you’re welcome.) At Redis, you’ll work with the fastest, simplest technology in the business—whether you’re building it, telling its story, or selling it to our 10,000+ worldwide customers. We’re creating a faster world with simpler experiences. You in?

Why would you love this job?

Redis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our Go-to-Market FP&A team.

As an Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the FP&A and broader organization in scaling its planning systems and processes. You will report to the VP of Finance and collaborate with our FP&A and Finance Operations teams to start.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on self-starter with a fundamental understanding of data analytics, systems integrations, and optimizing model delivery (for speed and outcomes). You will have experience with high-growth SaaS companies and be able to effectively project manage inbound requests by leveraging an ROI-based framework for categorizing tasks. You must possess high integrity and be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

If you are looking for a role that gives you the opportunity to have a significant impact on a business in its next phase of growth, then this is the right challenge for you.

What you’ll do:

FP&A Planning Tool Ownership

  • Serve as the primary business owner for our financial planning tool (Drivetrain) to enable accurate, timely, and scalable planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
  • Translate business requirements into system configurations, model logic, lists, hierarchies, workflows, and role-based access in Drivetrain.
  • Drive enhancements and manage release testing/UAT, validations, and post-release monitoring; maintain user documentation and training materials.
  • Establish governance around versions/scenarios, metadata, and master data (e.g., COA, departments, product lines, geos).
  • Own day-to-day administration: troubleshooting, data refresh schedules, integrations monitoring, and user support.

Financial Systems & Process Optimization

  • Partner with IT/Finance Systems to integrate Drivetrain with ERP (e.g., NetSuite), HRIS, data warehouse, and other source systems; define data contracts and SLAs.
  • Identify process gaps and opportunities for automation across planning, reporting, and close; propose solutions and lead implementation.
  • Support data governance and controls to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data across tools; contribute to SOX-aligned change management.
  • Support FP&A cycles (monthly/quarterly forecast, annual plan, Board reporting) using system-driven models and reports.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and standardized reporting to enable self-service insights for finance and business leaders.

What will you need to have?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, business systems, or financial technology roles.
  • Hands-on development experience with financial planning tools — Drivetrain strongly preferred; Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, or similar acceptable.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and comfort working with large datasets; ability to structure ambiguous problems with clear analytical frameworks.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), HRIS (e.g., HiBob, Workday), and CRM (e.g., Salesforce) data structures.
  • Experience integrating data from data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) to BI/reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Basic understanding of corporate financials and planning concepts: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, revenue recognition basics, opex/capex, headcount planning, and SaaS metrics.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • Remote-first work environment with a flexible schedule.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career development.
  • A dynamic, collaborative, and innovative work culture.
  • The chance to work with cutting-edge technology and a world-class team.

What you need to know about the Chennai Tech Scene

To locals, it's no secret that South India is leading the charge in big data infrastructure. While the environmental impact of data centers has long been a concern, emerging hubs like Chennai are favored by companies seeking ready access to renewable energy resources, which provide more sustainable and cost-effective solutions. As a result, Chennai, along with neighboring Bengaluru and Hyderabad, is poised for significant growth, with a projected 65 percent increase in data center capacity over the next decade.
