The Centre of Excellence FPR&A team is a dynamic and collaborative group dedicated to providing critical financial insights and support to drive the company's strategic objectives. We develop and support the analytic technologies to provide our internal customers structured access to data that is timely, accurate, and actionable. About the Role
In this role, you will provide critical financial insights by providing management reporting, developing plans and forecasts, conducting in-depth analysis.
Responsibilities
Gathering, interpreting, and analyzing information, making assessments, and completing reconciliations.
Providing critical financial insights to the stakeholders by conducting in-depth analysis, scenario planning, and trend identification that guides strategic decision-making.
Gaining a deep understanding of our financial systems and processes.
Analyzing large sets of data and extracting valuable insights to present to leadership and business partners.
Owning month-end close activities, preparing and analyzing schedules and understanding their impact on the overall financials.
Identifying problem areas when looking at information, seeing patterns, trends, or missing pieces. Questioning inconsistencies in financial data and making recommendations to resolve.
Identifying improvements and enhancements, documenting and recommending appropriate course of action, and implementing new processes.
Supporting and providing guidance to other functional areas, helping with questions, and assisting with solutions.
Performing Ad hoc analysis as needed.
Requirements
3+ years prior experience of financial analysis and accounting
Advanced Excel skills
Understanding of financial system structures and data flows
Attention to detail, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Ability to complete financial analysis with minimal direction
