Develops and maintains front-end technical capabilities and products to meet the business needs. Provides engineering support in the conceptualization, development, implementation, and optimization of user-facing components and applications. Offers technical advice and consultation on complex, critical programming challenges related to front-end development.

What you’ll do

Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of short- and long-term front-end solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications. Focuses on user interfaces, performance, and seamless integration with back-end systems. Reviews technology requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, and implements front-end solutions. Roles are often project-based, delivering technology change within the business.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design, develop, and operate high-quality user interfaces and applications across the front-end stack.

  • Develop responsive and modular Single Page Applications (SPAs) using Angular (latest versions).

  • Write, test, debug, and maintain scalable front-end code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.

  • Implement CSS preprocessors like SCSS/SASS for better code organization and maintainability.

  • Collaborate with back-end teams to ensure seamless integration of APIs and server-side logic.

  • Apply modern software development practices, including CI/CD and unit testing with Karma/Jasmine.

  • Participate in technology roadmap discussions to turn business requirements and vision into reality. Work as part of a globally distributed engineering team.

  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them effectively.

  • Research, create, and develop scalable and maintainable front-end applications to improve user experiences.

  • Actively participate in Agile processes, including Sprint planning, Sprint Retrospectives, and other team activities.

What experience you need 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of front-end software development experience.

  • 5+ years of experience with Angular (latest versions), including building modular and scalable SPAs.

  •  Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.

  • Proficiency with CSS preprocessors such as SCSS/SASS.

  • Experience with Node.js and its asynchronous programming model, including familiarity with Express.js.

  •  Hands-on experience with unit testing using Karma/Jasmine or Mocha/Chai

  • Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0/2.1).

  •  Familiarity with Google Analytics/Tag Manager for performance and user tracking.

  • Experience in integrating modern tools and frameworks for enhanced productivity.

  • Self-starter who identifies and responds to priority shifts with minimal supervision.

  • Agile environments experience (e.g., Scrum, XP).

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Cloud certification and familiarity with front-end hosting services are strongly preferred.
