What you’ll achieve

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for the development of functionalities in the scope of Dedalus global product portfolio, with a main focus on our Patient Portal. He or she has to define and work on aspects for installability, serviceability, portability, deployability and scalability of our Java Enterprise / Quarkus backend and Angular frontend.

You will:

  • Develop and maintain components and functionalities for our 3tier applications

  • Ensure and constantly improve installability, portability, scalability and servicability of our products

  • Deliver re-usable application components that help the organization to monitor and control our backend services

  • Focus on the image storing code that is coded in Kotlin and uses DICOM bases PACS systems for storage

  • Understand customer needs and discuss ideas with the product owner

  • Ensure consistency and the way our framework is used

  • Perform Software design and architecture reviews to evaluate and iterate the designs.

  • 3rd Level support on complex customer problems

  • Ensure regular reporting wrt. Status and progress

Essential Requirements
  • Jakarta Enterprise, Kubernetes, Docker, Java SE, Kotlin Go, JBoss, Wildfly, DICOM, Oracle, SQL, PL&/SQL, Networking Infrastructure, Angular, Javascript, Typescript, npm, JMeter

  • Enthusiasms for modern technologies

  • Experience in Software Design, planning and concept creation

Desirable Requirements

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or Engineering.

  • 7-14 years of relevant IT experience with solid technical exposure and experience in 4 or more real-time software development projects and handled/led 2 or more projects independently.

  • Should have experience on developing large scale or mission critical applications, preferably in the field of Healthcare.
