About the Role:

All Generation Tech is seeking a Backend Developer with strong InsureMO and insurance platform experience to join our growing insurance technology practice. This role is ideal for engineers who have worked on complex backend systems, API orchestration, and integrations within modern insurance ecosystems.

You will work closely with architects, product owners, and delivery teams to build scalable backend services supporting policy, underwriting, and claims workflows.

Experience Required: 3-7 years
Location: Remote / India
Salary: Up to 50 LPA (based on exp)
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Design and implement API orchestration services
  • Build Jobs and Batch processes for workflow customization
  • Create and manage integrations between InsureMO and external platforms
  • Develop custom backend assets (Java / SQL) to address requirements beyond InsureMO platform capabilities
  • Ensure proper data persistence, processing, and performance
  • Support testing, debugging, and production issue resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Maintain technical documentation and follow engineering best practices


Required Qualifications (Must-Have):

  • 3-7 years of backend software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Java (11 & 17)
  • Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Batch, Spring Cloud)
  • Hands-on experience with JPA
  • Strong understanding of Microservices architecture
  • Experience with API development and OpenAPI (Swagger)
  • Front-end exposure to JavaScript (ES6+) and React
    • Component lifecycle, hooks, props, setState
  • Testing experience with JUnit 5, Mockito, Spring Test
  • Solid understanding of insurance domain concepts
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

  • Experience with Groovy
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with TypeScript or Golang
  • JavaScript testing using Jest
  • CSS knowledge including Flexbox
  • Database modeling experience
  • Knowledge of OPA (Open Policy Agent)
  • Prior experience in the insurance sector
