Summary:
As an Application Developer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are built to the highest standards of quality and functionality. You will also participate in discussions to refine project goals and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop enterprise web applications and portals using Java Full Stack, Spring Boot, React, Angular, and JavaScript
- Build reusable frontend components using React, Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery, and AJAX
- Customize and configure application themes, layouts, and UI screens to meet business requirements
- Integrate REST APIs, EDI, and XML/JSON data exchanges with ERP, financial, and third-party systems
- Ensure responsive design and cross-device compatibility using Bootstrap and front-end frameworks
- Optimize application performance through efficient queries, caching, and front-end load optimization
- Collaborate with backend, QA, and operations teams for end-to-end feature delivery
- Debug and resolve production issues delivered application support across 21 marine terminals (Navis N4)
- Handle cookie consent, session management, local storage, indexed DB, and web accessibility standards
- Authentication, authorization using OAuth, SAML implemented secure role-based access control and payment gateway integrations (PayPal, PayU)
- Code review, build management, and deployment on Apache Tomcat and JBoss application servers
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Java Full Stack Development (13+ yrs), Spring Boot, Hibernate ORM, REST APIs, JavaScript, React, Angular, Bootstrap, MySQL, Oracle, Amazon Aurora
- Good To Have Skills: Node JS, VueJS, VTEX IO (eCommerce portals), GraphQL, Microservices, Playwright (testing), Redux (state management)
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, Bootstrap, React, Angular
- Familiarity with database management systems: MySQL, Oracle, Amazon Aurora, SQL Server.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs, EDI integrations, XML/JSON data exchange with ERP and financial systems.
-Experience in building responsive web portals with cookies, local storage, session handling, payment gateways (PayPal, PayU) and multi-user access control
Unit testing exposure via enterprise QA workflows adaptable to Jest or Playwright
Experience in state management using AJAX/jQuery familiar with Redux for state management and GitLab for CI/CD
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
