Job Title: Fullstack Engineer

About This Role:
Comscore is looking for a new fullstack engineer who will build complex, large-scale client applications and large distributed systems that collect, aggregate, transform and distribute data for further analysis. Some roles develop components that run on PCs or mobile devices and collect large volumes of user behavioral data through reverse engineering.
More senior roles design, coordinate and implement product development initiatives, provide strategic leadership, and ensure the designs and development of world-class system capability.
What You’ll Do:
- Be responsible for entire projects; involved in software design; take full responsibility for assigned project and be responsible for meeting set deadlines
- Handle complex data structures and multi-threading
- Mentor and train new team members
- May have limited external client interaction
- Involved in software design
- Coding reflects SOLID design principles and use design patterns where appropriate
- Troubleshoot coding problems; build corrections and enhancements into the systems
- Participate in code reviews and give actionable feedback
- Build productive internal business relationships
What You’ll Need:
- 2 - 5 years application development experience
- Able to collaborate across multiple teams
- Experience with Perl5 Object Oriented design
- EmberJS, AngluarJS or similar framework experience a plus
- Able to self-motivated and work independently
- Willingness to learn and become an expert in assigned area
- Able to seek and provide constructive feedback
- Able to research new tool methods and techniques to improve functionality and enhance productivity
Shift Timing:
The regular hours for this position will cover a combination of business hours in the US and India –
typically 2:30pm-11pm IST. Occasionally, later hours may be required for meetings with teams in other
parts of the world. Additionally, for the first 4-6 weeks of onboarding and training, US Eastern time
hours (IST -9:30) may be required.
