Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a motivated and skilled engineer to join our Access and Discovery team—a critical part of a platform designed to revolutionize how we harness and interact with data across the organization. The team focuses on Data Accessibility, ensuring that data is readily available to internal teams through intuitive interfaces, robust APIs, managed data warehouses, and cloud-based data platforms.

In this role, you’ll build and evolve a full-stack application that is resilient, scalable, and highly available. You’ll work in a fast-paced, agile environment, leading the development of modern web experiences tightly integrated with cloud services.

This is a hybrid position based in Pune, India. You’ll play a key role in shaping user outcomes by delivering high-quality, maintainable code while driving continuous improvements in performance, design, and security. Responsibilities
 

• Develop and maintain robust code for new and existing products, focusing on ease of maintenance and future scalability

• Uphold high standards in code health, testing, and maintainability

• Advocate for automated testing and meticulous documentation

• Work closely with customers and internal teams to troubleshoot, debug, and innovate solutions to complex problems

• Engage in technical discussions, influence product roadmaps, and contribute to a collaborative team environment

• Develop expertise in specific technical domains while maintaining a broad understanding of our tech stack and business goals

Minimum Qualifications
 

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science Engineering or related technical fields

• 3+ years of software development experience

• Strong hands-on Java programming skills and exposure to Spring Boot

• Strong experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, ReactJS, and other frontend technologies

• Experience in designing and implementing RESTful services

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• A team player attitude with a willingness to lead when necessary

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders

• Ability to document requirements and specifications

• Ability to manage project workflows, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines, often using Agile methodologies

Preferred Qualifications
 

• Experience with AWS or other major cloud platforms

• Proficiency in additional scripting languages, such as Python

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks

• Experience with databases and database design principles
