About the Role

The Gainsight Administrator / Technical Steward will serve as the primary technical expert responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing Gainsight within our sales tech ecosystem. This role involves overseeing integrations with Salesforce and other enterprise applications, ensuring data integrity, and supporting user adoption across our global sales teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Gainsight and Salesforce, along with strategic and stakeholder engagement skills to maximize platform value.

Key Responsibilities

Admin & Support 

- Lead the configuration, customization, and ongoing maintenance of Gainsight modules to support sales and customer success initiatives. 

- Manage integrations between Gainsight and Salesforce and other enterprise application, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security. 

- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and workflows that deliver actionable insights for sales and customer success teams. 

- Provide technical support, training, and documentation to promote platform adoption and best practices. 

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure reliable operation.

Tech Stewardship

- Act as a key point of contact for product owners and business stakeholders regarding Gainsight capabilities. 

- Oversee compliance with governance standards and ensure technical due diligence is maintained.

- Support the solution and technical architecture to ensure Gainsight aligns with the company's overall system architecture and target state plans. 

- Collaborate with product owners to review platform effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvements or consolidation. 

- Stay informed about new features, industry trends, and alternative solutions that could provide greater benefits. 

- Work with other system stewards to identify opportunities for system integration and efficiency

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Gainsight Administrator, Technical Steward, or similar role supporting Gainsight and/or Salesforce or other sales technology applications

- Strong understanding of customer success processes, sales operations, and data management. 

- Hands-on experience configuring and customizing Gainsight modules (e.g., CSM, Journeys, Reports & Dashboards). 

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. 

- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams across regions.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Gainsight certifications (e.g., Gainsight Certified Admin or equivalent). 

- Experience with Salesforce administration is a plus

- Familiarity with data analytics, visualization tools, and automation.
