Designs, automates, and supports secure, scalable GCP platforms and cloud applications. Enables application teams to deploy workloads, builds CI/CD and Terraform-based infrastructure automation, supports containers and Kubernetes, implements API Gateway solutions, manages certificates, troubleshoots platform issues, and embeds security, compliance, monitoring, and resilience practices.
We are seeking an experienced GCP Platform & DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and support large-scale, secure cloud applications. You will work closely with application teams to ensure robust, compliant, and resilient solutions, ideally with experience in regulated environments such as banking.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Enable and support application teams to deploy and operate workloads on GCP (Compute, IAM, Networking, GCS, Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Bigtable, Spanner, Dataform).
- Automate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and related tools.
- Ensure security best practices, compliance, and data privacy are embedded in all solutions.
- Troubleshoot platform and deployment issues, driving root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient, and observable systems.
- Implement and support API Gateway solutions (e.g., Kong, MuleSoft) and manage SSL certificates.
- Maintain expertise in cloud security, monitoring, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with GCP and DevOps practices at scale.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform), CI/CD, and automation.
- Proficient in modern programming/scripting languages.
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE).
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring and logging (e.g., Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk).
- Deep understanding of security principles and compliance in cloud environments.
- Experience in banking or other regulated industries is a strong advantage.
