Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for selling products, services, parts, solutions, or projects within a defined geographic area.

  • Develops specialized knowledge of the latest commercial developments in the domain and uses strong communication skills to influence stakeholders.

  • Contributes to strategy and policy development and ensures effective delivery within the assigned area of responsibility.

  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of best practices and understands how their function integrates with other areas.

  • Maintains a working knowledge of competitors and market differentiators.

  • Applies sound judgment to make decisions and solve moderately complex problems across projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns, or customer engagements.

  • Uses technical expertise and data analysis to support recommendations, drawing from multiple internal and limited external sources.

  • Typically manages a team of professionals (first-line manager) or leads a professional sales department (second-line manager).

  • Acts as a resource for less experienced colleagues and may lead small projects with moderate risk and resource requirements.

  • Communicates complex or sensitive information effectively and works to build consensus.

  • Develops persuasive skills to influence others on topics within their field of expertise.

Required Qualifications
  • Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college with minimum 15 plus years of experience.

  • Proven experience in people management and working with channel partners.

  • Extensive experience in sales of imaging equipment, with a strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics.

Desired Characteristics
  • Experience of supporting Sri Lanka in medical devices industry would be an added advantage

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  • Established project management skills.
