As an Associate / Vice-President in the Global Corporate Bank, you will manage a dedicated corporate portfolio in the Financial Institutions sector. You will work closely with product partners to maximize firm-wide revenues and achieve target returns. Your focus will be on debt products, FX and derivatives, securities services products (e.g. custody, fund administration, agency securities lending, collateral management), and core cash management. This role provides a comprehensive experience in managing client relationships and delivering financial solutions.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Acquire, build, and maintain relationships with a target client base.
  • Formulate and implement account plans with a cross-sell strategy.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities to grow the portfolio.
  • Partner with Client Credit Management for credit-related needs and facilitate internal approvals.
  • Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs and convert them into financial solutions.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of relationship management experience in banking.
  • Proven track record of originating new business.
  • Solid knowledge of flow derivatives, FX, Debt Capital Markets (DCM) products, transaction banking, and securities processing.
  • Strong organizational and credit structuring/documentation skills.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Japanese and business-level English.
