Job Summary
We’re seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our growing in-house creative team. This role will support a broad range of design needs across print, digital, event marketing, and social media. Reporting directly to the Executive Creative Director, the Graphic Designer will help translate strategic objectives into visually compelling, brand-aligned creative assets that elevate AmeriLife’s marketing and communications.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Print Design: Create brochures, flyers, postcards, event signage, and other collateral to support affiliate and corporate marketing efforts.
- Digital Design: Develop web graphics, email visuals, digital ads, and presentation assets that align with AmeriLife’s digital strategies.
- Event Marketing Support: Design branded materials for national and regional events, including banners, stage graphics, wayfinding signage, and promotional items.
- Social Media: Produce engaging visual content for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, adhering to brand voice and visual guidelines.
- Brand Stewardship: Maintain visual consistency across all creative work by following and contributing to brand guidelines and templates.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, communications, and content teams, as well as with internal clients and vendors, to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail, timelines, and creative quality.
- Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
- 3–5 years of professional design experience (in-house or agency)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; experience with After Effects or Premiere a plus)
- Understanding of digital and print production processes
- Strong typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills
- Comfortable working within brand systems while bringing fresh ideas to the table
- Ability to receive and apply feedback in a fast-paced environment
Preferred (but not required):
- Motion graphics or video editing capabilities
- Experience working with event marketing or trade show design
