Tietoevry Tech Services Latvia is looking for a Group Accountant to strengthen our finance team.
With us you will be responsible for:
- Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting according to IFRS based on responsibility area
- Tax reporting (IAS 12) for the Group on quarterly basis, together with the Group tax team
- Preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements
- Supporting the business in practical IFRS questions and accounting matters
- Participation in other various development projects, including group reporting tools (e.g. HFM and Workiva)
- Preparation of financial, annual, and operational reports as well as other necessary management and regulatory documentation
- Participate in annual audit and pre-audit activities
- Performing and organizing full accounting process according to accounting standards and group policies
- Prepare legal allocation transactions according to tax and accounting standards
We expect you to have:
- 3+ years of work experience in financial accounting (IFRS) and group consolidation
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or other related area and a recognized accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA)
- Understanding of group consolidation, tax reporting and ability to interpret and apply IFRS in various real-life cases
- Fluent spoken and written English (for working with foreign clients and colleagues)
- Solid IT skills, knowledge of HFM and Workiva will be considered as an advantage

- Responsible personality that is able to take initiative and ownership
- Willingness and interest in tackling complex issues, positive mindset towards challenges
- Very good cooperation skills as in this role you will collaborate with different teams and stakeholders e.g. finance operations teams in different countries, external advisors, auditors
- Proactive, can-do attitude and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure during tight deadlines
