Mandatory Skill : Guidewire Xcenter Automation
Good to have Skills : Jira, Bamboo, IntelliJ – Java, Appium, Postman, Bitbucket, Allure, XCUITEST, Maven, TestNG, Selenium, SQL and database query tools, MS office
Total Experience : 5 to 8yrs

Guidewire Cloud Experience (Policy Centre, Claims Centre & Billing Centre).
- Selenium with Java expertise.
- Clear communication & standard software testing lifecycle knowledge.
- Proficiency in QA Methodology and hands-on testing experience within the Insurance industry.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance tester.
- Proficiency in QA Methodology and hands-on testing experience within the Insurance industry.
- Demonstrated experience with testing UI, Web services, batch-based integrations, and Web portals.
- Familiarity with Microsoft TFS and Test Manager (MTM) is preferred.
- Proficiency in VB Script, XML, SQL, or related programming languages.
- Experience with Automation Testing Tools such as HP QTP, Selenium, etc.
- Specific Quality Assurance experience with Guidewire solutions in the P&C Policy lifecycle is essential.

Responsibilities

•    5+ years relevant Guidewire X Center Automation  testing experience (encompassing the skills and knowledge listed below)
•    GW Associate Certificate in cloud is Mandatory. Else he/she should get certified on joining..
•    Testing certification (ISTQB – Test Analyst, Automation Test Analyst or similar) will be an advantage
•    Preference will be given to candidates with proven GW automation experience
•    Experience in software testing including methodologies (agile, functional and non-functional), test planning, test case development, execution, and quality assessment of test cases
•    Experience with using the following tools: GW Studio, Jira, Bamboo, IntelliJ – Java, Appium, Postman, Bitbucket, Allure, XCUITEST, Maven, TestNG, Selenium, SQL and database query tools, MS office
•    Experience in working with Agile (Scrum) methodology
•    Extensive experience developing test cases and test scenarios from story cards/use cases and/or requirements specifications
•    Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
•    Possesses good understanding of Quality Control and Quality Assurance concepts across the SDLC and the TDLC
•    Understands test metrics and how they are used for decision support
•    Understands development practices and structures, SQL & database query tools
•    Has experience with Requirements Management, Test Management and Defect Management Tools. Understanding of automated testing principles and procedures will be an added advantage
