Position : Guidewire Scrum Master

A Scrum Master in a Guidewire environment is responsible for facilitating Agile practices, removing impediments, and ensuring effective collaboration within the team.
Key Responsibilities of a Guidewire Scrum Master
The Scrum Master organizes and leads essential Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. They ensure these meetings are productive and that all team members have an opportunity to contribute.
Removing Impediments by identifying and eliminating obstacles that hinder the team's progress. This includes addressing both technical and organizational challenges to maintain a smooth workflow.
Acts as a coach for the development team and the Product Owner, helping them understand and implement Agile principles and Scrum practices effectively. This includes mentoring team members to enhance their skills and understanding of the Scrum framework.
Encourages the team to self-organize and make decisions collaboratively. Foster an environment where team members feel empowered to take ownership of their work and contribute to the project's success.
Track and monitors the team's progress and performance, using tools like burndown charts to provide insights into the team's velocity and areas for improvement. They share updates with stakeholders to ensure transparency.
Facilitating retrospectives, the Scrum Master helps the team reflect on their processes and identify areas for improvement. They encourage a culture of learning and adaptation to enhance team performance over time.
Liaison with Stakeholders serving as a bridge between the development team and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and expectations.
Responsibilities are crucial for ensuring that the team effectively implements the Guidewire software solutions while adhering to Agile methodologies. The Scrum Master plays a vital role in fostering collaboration, enhancing productivity, and driving successful project outcomes
Candidates should have a minimum of 10+ years of experience working with Guidewire Software, including familiarity with all its modules such as Policycenter, Billingcenter, and Claimcenter.
Guidewire Associate Certification is a must, Other Insurance Domain Certifications good to have.
