Infotel India is seeking an accomplished and visionary professional to assume the role of Head of AI Capability Centre. In this pivotal leadership position, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development and operational excellence of our AI Capability Centre, ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions that align with the organisation’s overarching business objectives.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team of AI experts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence while establishing best practices and frameworks for AI deployment across various domains.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute the strategic vision for the AI Capability Centre, aligning with Infotel India's business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of AI researchers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver high-impact AI solutions.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI models and platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and ethical considerations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify AI opportunities and drive adoption across business units.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, data privacy regulations, and ethical AI practices.
- Manage the Centre’s budget, resource allocation, and project prioritisation to maximise value delivery.
- Represent Infotel India in industry forums, conferences, and collaborations to maintain cutting-edge knowledge and visibility.
- Champion continuous learning and professional development within the AI Capability Centre.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (15+ years) in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or related fields, including leadership roles.
- Proven track record of managing and scaling high-performing AI teams and centres of excellence.
- Strong expertise in AI technologies, frameworks, and ethical AI practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business transformation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience in budget management and operational planning.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to data privacy and AI ethics.
