The role / impact
As the Head of Partnerships for Asia, you will be the driving force behind Xero’s growth across the region. You will take full ownership of the territory, shaping a strategy that originates and executes high-performing partnerships to deliver meaningful value for both Xero and our customers. Your work will span channel, product, and ecosystem collaborations, allowing you to influence how we acquire new customers and enhance our product offering with unique partner propositions.
This is a high-impact role where you will translate global business strategies into tangible results on the ground. You will build executive-level relationships with key strategic partners and independently manage complex, high-value deals that align with our broader business goals. By representing the partnerships agenda within the regional leadership team, you will ensure this function remains a strategic pillar for our success in Asia.
The team / how they connect
You will hold a unique seat as the sole partnerships lead within the Asia region, collaborating directly with global executives. The cross functional team operates with a global mindset, working together to navigate obstacles and identify simple, effective solutions that support the wider small business economy.
The team is currently working on / Initially, you will focus on
Developing and championing a comprehensive partnerships strategy that synthesises market insights to influence our direction in Asia.
Building a robust pipeline of opportunities that drive distribution and extend our ecosystem in key areas.
Identifying and securing high-value product partnerships, such as working with top banks to support our bank feeds coverage.
Representing Xero at key internal and external events and media opportunities to evangelise our partnership agenda.

You bring a wealth of knowledge in channel and product partnerships, specifically within the B2B software industry.
Your background includes leading and influencing at an executive level, both internally and with external partners.
A strategic mindset allows you to evaluate the commercial viability of deals and assist with build, buy, or partner decisions.
Negotiation is a core strength for you, particularly when handling complex commercial contracts.
You thrive when given full ownership of a territory and enjoy building functions from the ground up in fast-paced environments.
Effective communication skills enable you to share insights and champion the partnerships agenda across all levels of the business.
