UX and Product Design at Rohlik are embedded across multiple product tribes, ensuring both our customers and internal teams enjoy seamless, intuitive experiences. Our Product Designers and UX Researchers collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, and Operations Leads to shape both customer-facing products (Web, iOS, Android) and internal tools supporting our operations (warehousing, logistics, customer support).
Role OverviewAs Head of Product Design & Research, you’ll define and elevate how design and research shape Rohlik’s future. You’ll lead the craft across customer-facing experiences and internal systems — driving clarity, consistency, and quality at scale.
You’ll turn strategy into measurable outcomes: higher conversion, stronger retention, lower customer effort, and smoother operations.
As part of the Product Leadership Team, you’ll manage and grow a talented team of Product Designers and UX Researchers while mentoring embedded ICs across tribes. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations to make design a key driver of business impact.
What You’ll DoDefine and execute a multi-market design & research strategy across customer-facing products and internal systems.
Build and scale DesignOps and ResearchOps (processes, tools, panels, experiment cadence) to accelerate learning and impact.
Hire, develop, and mentor Product Designers & UX Researchers; foster a culture of feedback, collaboration, and continuous growth.
Ensure customer insights and usability testing are deeply embedded into product development.
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations to shape product strategy and define success metrics (CES, conversion, retention, task success).
Act as a cross-functional leader — removing roadblocks, resolving conflicts, and ensuring timely delivery of key initiatives.
Represent design & research both internally and externally, championing learning, outcomes, and craft excellence.
8+ years of experience in product design, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Proven success in developing design & research strategies and delivering impactful products at scale.
Hands-on experience with DesignOps and ResearchOps.
Strong research foundation (mixed methods, experimentation) with a focus on measurable outcomes.
Experience working in a squad/tribe model with Product, Engineering, and Data.
Metrics-driven mindset and a strong business sense.
Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and inspire designers and researchers.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent English (C1+).
