Application Development Lead Analyst – AI Agent Development Position Overview Cigna, a leading Health Services company, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Analyst to join our innovative Engineering team. The Lead Analyst will play a pivotal role in developing AI Agents using Large Language Models (LLMs) for our existing enterprise applications. This position requires expertise in Python, Langchain, LangGraph, and workflow automation. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and implement AI Agents using LLMs for enterprise applications. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Utilize Python, Langchain, LangGraph, and workflow automation tools to build robust and scalable solutions. • Ensure continuous improvement and automation of development processes. • Drive the adoption of CI/CD tools and practices within the team. • Monitor data quality and proactively identify and resolve issues. • Maintain ownership and accountability for project deliverables. • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels. Qualifications Required Skills: • Proficiency in Python and experience with Langchain, LangGraph, and workflow automation. • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices. • Ability to write modular and referenceable code. • Commitment to maintaining high data quality standards. Required Experience & Education: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 5 – 8 years of overall technical experience • 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on AI and machine learning. • Proven track record of developing and implementing AI solutions in enterprise environments. • 5+ years of experience in Python. • 5+ Experience working with AWS. • 5+ Experience on Git, S3 and Jest (or Any Testing Libraries/framework). • 5+ Experience in HTML, CSS. Desired Experience: • Experience with LLMs: Hands-on experience with developing and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs). • Knowledge of NLP: Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and applications. • Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and creatively. • Team Leadership: Experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers or analysts. • Security Practices: Knowledge of data security and privacy practices, especially in healthcare. • Health care information domains preferred.
