Serve as the technical ServiceNow HRSD specialist: monitor scheduled jobs, troubleshoot and fix HR module issues, support integrations, perform patches and upgrades, script mass-data corrections, ensure audit/compliance requirements, assist UAT planning/execution, and coordinate changes impacting broader ServiceNow platform.
For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a HRSD ServiceNow Specialist. Candidates need to have a least +8 years of ServiceNow development experience, particularly with implementation of HR module at large organization with several integration.
We are looking for a motivated contractor. This position is long-term. Candidates need to be fluent in English.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Monitor critical ServiceNow Scheduled Jobs that need to run to ensure data accuracy within the ServiceNow HR Module.
- Analyze all issues assigned to the consultants. If the raised issue is within the scope of the original requirement and expected behavior, the issue will require a resolution through code-fix or configuration change. If it requires integration level changes, the responsible integration team members will need to be involved.
- Change Requests as determined mutually between ITS and Business teams will not be in scope for this engagement.
- Any requests for system changes to meet Audit or Compliance teams, both internal as well as external, will need to be addressed by the technical consultant to ensure that the system is in full compliance.
- Routine patches and Annual Upgrade cycles will be completed by the technical consultant and the tasks will involve ensuring that the original codebase continues to work in the upgraded environment and assist in planning/execution of the user acceptance testing of such efforts.
- Any situation that requires mass-data correction using scripts will be supported by the technical consultant.
- Any realignment within the business teams that needs configuration changes will be implemented by the technical consultant.
- Fix any report issues that are not working as originally intended. New report requirements will not be assigned to the technical consultant.
- Inform and obtain agreement from ServiceNow Platform team for any change that has impact beyond the HR Module.
Profile:
- Bachelor or Master's degree;
- +8 years of ServiceNow development experience, particularly with implementation of HR module at large organization with several integrations;
- Fluent English;
